The steps below will guide you through the process to access your course materials, both eBook and Courseware, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME. You will be prompted to create an account and this will allow you to access the links without having to be signed into your course.
Brightspace/D2L:
1. Log into your course and click ‘Content’ on the upper navigation bar. Then locate and click any link to access your course material.
*NOTE* Your course material links will be specific to your course and look slightly different from the screenshot below. Your instructor can help you locate your course materials if needed. Links can often be found in modules such as Course Materials, Start Here, Module 1.
2. You will now be presented with a screen that will allow you to create an account to access your ebook or courseware Anywhere at Anytime in the event you lose access to Brightspace/D2L or at the end of the term.
- To learn more about why Willo Portal, simply click on Why am I seeing this?
- If you are not ready to create an account today, simply click on Remind Me Later and Select one of the options. You will be prompted at a later time to create your account.
- If you are ready to create an account, click on the gray Create My Account
* If you selected to create your account please follow the steps below.
* If you chose No thanks- just take me to my course materials you will be reminded to see this screen again at a later date that will allow you to create an account.
3. Now click on the green Sign Up. This account is going to allow you to have access to your publisher courseware or eBook ANYTIME, even after you no longer have access to your course through Brightspace/D2L. **Please note that subscription durations will determine the length of time that you maintain access.
4. You will need to enter your email address and select Send Confirmation Email. Be sure to use an email address that you have access to as a confirmation email will be sent to you with a code that you will need to apply on the next screen. We encourage students to use their personal email address.
5. Log into your email and retrieve the code that was sent to you and enter it into the Enter Code field. This will be a 6 -digit number that is sent to you and will expire in 15 minutes after being sent. The sender will be from Willo Labs. Be sure to check your Junk/Spam email as well for this email.
6. Now create your Willo Portal account be entering your full name and creating a password and then select Create My Account.
7. Congratulations, you have just created your portal account! After verifying that the information is correct, select the green Continue button at the bottom of the page.
8. Your setup has been successful! Click on the green Access My Course Materials and this will take you to the links that your instructors have created in all of your courses using Willo.
9. Click on your Institution for the materials that you would like to access. Please note that if you are enrolled in courses at multiple schools using Willo, you will see all of your course materials loaded and separated out by school.
10. Now click into the course that you are looking to access the course materials for.
11. You will now have access to the links that are from your instructors course.
